ADM8320 is a supervisory circuit with watchdog and manual reset that monitor power supply voltage levels and code execution integrity in microprocessor-based systems. As well as providing power-on reset signals, an on-chip watchdog timer can reset the microprocessor if it fails to strobe within a present timeout period. A reset signal can also be asserted by an external push-button switch through a manual reset input. Application includes automotive infotainment, microprocessor systems computers, controllers, intelligent instruments, portable equipment.

- Operating voltage range from 0.9 to 5.5V (VCC=(VTH + 1.5%) to 5.5V)
- Typical supply current (WDI Floating) is 10µA (VCC=5.5V, VCC=(VTH + 1.5%) to 5.5V)
- Maximum open-drain reset output leakage current is 1µA (VCC=5.5V, VCC=(VTH + 1.5%) to 5.5V)
- Minimum WDI pulse width is 50ns (VIL=0.3 × VCC, VIH=0.7 × VCC)
- Typical WDI input current is 35µA (VIL=0.3 × VCC, VIH=0.7 × VCC))
- 2.93V reset threshold, 140ms minimum reset timeout
- 5-lead SOT-23 package
- Temperature range from -40°C to +125°C
