Product Overview
AD9094 is an 8bit, 1GSPS, quad analogue-to-digital converter (ADC). The device has an on-chip buffer and a sample-and-hold circuit designed for low power, small size, and ease of use. The quad-ADC cores feature multistage, differential pipelined architecture with integrated output error correction logic. Each ADC features wide bandwidth inputs that support a variety of user-selectable input ranges. An integrated voltage reference facilitates design considerations. The analogue inputs and clock signals are differential inputs. Typical application includes laser imaging, detection, and ranging (LIDAR) communications digital oscilloscope (DSO) and ultra wideband satellite receivers instrumentation.
- JESD204B (Subclass 1 and0) coded serial digital outputs, lane rates up to 15Gbps
- 1.6W total power at 1GSPS and 400mW per ADC channel
- SFDR: 71dBFS, SNR: 48.6dBFS, SINAD: 48.5dBFS at 611MHz (1.44V p-p input range)
- 0.9V, 1.8V and 2.5VDC supply operation and 1.4GHz analogue input full power bandwidth
- Internal ADC voltage reference, analogue input buffer and no missing codes and
- On-chip dithering to improve small signal linearity and on-chip temperature diode
- Flexible differential input voltage range: 1.44V p-p to 2.16V p-p (1.44V p-p default)
- Fast detect bits for efficient AGC implementation and Differential clock input
- Integer input clock divide by 1, 2, 4, or 8 and flexible JESD204B lane configurations
- 72-lead LFCSP package, operating temperature range from -40°C to +105°C
