Product Overview
AS1723 is a non-corrosive, neutral cure, 1-part, RTV (room temperature vulcanizing) silicone adhesive sealant. It is one in a range of alkoxy cure products which are solvent free. It exhibits excellent primerless adhesion to many substrates and cures at room temperature when in contact with atmospheric moisture to form a tough rubber. This product will not corrode copper or its alloys and is suitable for use with electronic components. Suitable for sensitive substrates.
- Self levelling, low odour, self bonding
- Appearance is viscous liquid
- Cure profile is 23+/-2°C and 50+/-5% humidity, cure type is alkoxy
- Colour is translucent, volume is 310ml
- Density is 1.03g/cm³ (BS ISO 2781), dispensing method is tube
- Working temperature is -50°C minimum, 200°C maximum
- Tensile strength is 1N/mm²/145psi (ISO 37)
- Thermal conductivity is 0.2W/mK, dielectric constant is 2.72 (ASTM D-150)
- Dielectric strength is <gt/>18kV/mm/0V/mil (ASTM D-149)
