ADP2370 is a high efficiency, low quiescent current, buck (step-down) dc-to-dc converter. The total solution requires only three tiny external components. The buck regulator uses a proprietary high speed current mode, constant frequency PWM control scheme for excellent stability and transient response. The need for an external rectifier is eliminated by using a high efficiency synchronous rectifier architecture. To ensure the longest battery life in portable applications, this device employ a power saving variable frequency mode that reduces the switching frequency under light load conditions. It include an internal power switch and a synchronous rectifier for minimal external part count and high efficiency. It is widely used in application such as portable and battery-powered equipment, automatic meter readers (WSN), point of sales and transaction processing instruments, medical instruments, medium format display tablets and pads etc.

- Quiescent current is 14µA in power saving mode (PSM)
- Oscillator frequency is 600KHz typical at (FSEL = 0V, 3.2V ≤ VIN ≤ 15V)
- 100% duty cycle capability
- Initial accuracy is ±1%
- Low shutdown current is 1.2µA typical
- Synchronizable to an external clock, supported by ADIsimPower design tool
- Operating temperature is -40°C to +125°C, buck output voltage is adjustable with QOD
- Package style is 8-lead LFCSP
