ADP7156ARDZ-1.8-R7 is a linear regulator operating from 2.3V to 5.5V, capable of providing up to 1.2A of output current. Utilizing an advanced proprietary architecture, it offers high power supply rejection and ultralow noise, achieving excellent line and load transient response with just a 10µF ceramic output capacitor. Applications include regulation for noise-sensitive systems such as phase-locked loops (PLLs), voltage-controlled oscillators (VCOs), PLLs with integrated VCOs, as well as communications and infrastructure, including backhaul and microwave links.
- Input voltage range from 2.3V to 5.5V, precision enable
- Stable with a 10µF ceramic output capacitor, 1.8V output voltage
- Load current is 1.2A maximum at (TA = 25°C)
- Operating supply current is 4mA typical at (ILOAD = 0µA, TA = 25°C)
- Shutdown current is 0.2µA typical at (EN = GND, TA = 25°C)
- Output noise is 16µV rms typical at (10Hz to 100KHz, TA = 25°C)
- Power supply rejection ratio is 80dB typ at (1KHz to 100KHz, VIN = 4.0V, VOUT = 3.3V, ILOAD = 1.2A)
- Dropout voltage is 60mV typical at (IOUT = 600mA, VOUT = 3.3V, TA = 25°C)
- Operating junction temperature range from -40°C to +125°C
- 8-lead SOIC package
