The DS1267BS-100+ is a dual digital potentiometer in 16 pin WSOIC package. This chip consists of two digitally controlled, solid state potentiometers, each potentiometer is composed of 256 resistive sections. Between each resistive section and both ends of the potentiometer are tap points which are accessible to the wiper. The position of the wiper on the resistive array is set by an 8bit value that controls which tap point is connected to the wiper output. Communication and control of the device is accomplished via a 3-wire serial port interface. This interface allows the device wiper position to be read or written.
- Supply voltage range is 4.5V to 5.5V
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
- 100Kohm end to end resistance & ±20% end to end resistor tolerance (-40°C to +85°C, VCC = 5V ±10%)
- Maximum CLK frequency of 3.5MHz (-40°C to +85°C, VCC = 5V ±10%)
- Resistors can be connected in series to provide increased total resistance
- Resistive elements are temperature compensated to ±0.3LSB relative linearity
- Minimum data setup time 30ns & minimum data hold time is 10ns
- Input capacitance of 5pF at TA = +25°C
- Output capacitance of 7pF at TA = +25°C
- Integral nonlinearity (INL) is ±.75LSB (-40°C to +85°C, VCC = 5V ±10%)
