LT®3060 series is micropower, low dropout voltage (LDO) linear regulator. A single external capacitor provides programmable low noise reference performance and output soft-start functionality. It provides fast transient response with a minimum 2.2μF output capacitor. In shutdown, quiescent current is less than 1μA and the reference soft-start capacitor is reset. The LT3060 regulator optimize stability and transient response with low ESR, ceramic output capacitors. The regulator do not require the addition of ESR as is common with other regulators. Internal protection circuitry includes reverse-battery protection, reverse-output protection, reverse-current protection, current limit with foldback and thermal shutdown. Typical applications are battery-powered systems, industrial power supplies, avionic power supplies, portable instruments.

- Fixed output voltage is 1.8V at VIN=2.35V, ILOAD=1mA
- Dropout voltage is 300mV typical at ILOAD=100mA
- Quiescent current in shutdown is 0.3µA at VIN=45V, V active-low SHDN=0V
- Output voltage noise is 30µVRMS at COUT=10µF, ILOAD=100mA, VOUT=600mV, BW=10Hz to 100kHz
- Adjustable pin bias current is 15nA at VIN=2.1V, TA=25°C
- Reverse output current is 5µA at VOUT=1.8V, VIN=0V
- 8-lead (2mm × 2mm) plastic DFN package
- –40°C to 125°C temperature rating
