LT®3762 is a synchronous DC/DC controller designed to operate as a constant-current source and constant voltage regulator. It features a programmable internal PWM dimming signal generator and a synchronous gate driver. The LT3762 is ideally suited for driving high current LEDs with high efficiency and reduced power loss. Rail-to-rail switch current sensing enables synchronous boost topologies and nonsynchronous topologies such as SEPIC. A voltage feedback pin serves as the input for several LED protection features and also allows the converter to operate as a constant-voltage source. Adding a capacitor at SSFM pin activates the Spread-Spectrum Modulation feature to reduce EMI. Application includes industrial and automotive lighting, accurate current-limited voltage regulators.

- Overvoltage lockout range from 38.5 to 43.5V (TA=25°C, VIN=24V, CTRL1, CTRL2, PWM=2V)
- Maximum operating IQ (not switching) is 500µA (RT=82.5K, FB=1.5V, PWM=0V)
- Voltage range from 1.96 to 2.04V (0µA ≤ IVREF ≤ 250µA, TA=25°C)
- Typical output impedance is 11Mohm (0.9V≤ VC ≤ 1.5V, TA=25°C)
- 28-lead plastic TSSOP package, temperature range from -40˚C to 125˚C
