8503 is a DIN to BNC trigger cable to connect the model 2000 multimeter with any instrument having BNC trigger connectors rather than micro DIN trigger connectors. One end of the model 8503 is an 8-pin micro DIN connector, to be connected to the model 2000 multimeter. The other end is split into two BNC connectors, one being specified as the connector for VMC, or voltmeter complete (output), and the other being specified as the connector for EXT TRIG, or external trigger (input).
