MAX4646 is a fast, low-voltage, 2.5ohm, SPST, CMOS analogue switch. Each switch can handle Rail-to-Rail® analogue signals. Off-leakage current is 0.25nA max at +25°C. This analogue switch is ideal in low-distortion applications and it is the preferred solution over mechanical relays in automated test equipment or applications where current switching is required. This has low power requirements, require less board space, and is more reliable than mechanical relays. It has fast switching speeds of 12ns turn-on time (tON) and 8ns turn-off time (tOFF). It is a normally closed (NC) switch. Application includes battery-powered systems, audio and video signal routing, low-voltage data-acquisition systems, sample-and-hold circuits, communications circuits, relay replacement.

- 2.4V maximum input logic high (V+ = 4.5V to 5.5V, VIH = 2.4V)
- Logic input current range from -0.1 to 0.1µA (VIN = 0.8V or 2.4V)
- 12ns turn-on time typical (VNO, VNC = 3V, RL = 300 ohm, CL = 35pF)
- 17pF NO or NC capacitance typical (VNO, VNC = GND, f = 1MHz, TA = +25°C)
- 17pF COM off-capacitance typical (VCOM = GND, f = 1MHz, TA = +25°C)
- 0.0001µA typical positive supply current (TA = +25°C, V+ = 5.5V)
- 5 pin SOT23 package, operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C
