PL360B evaluation kit for the PL360B modem from Microchip. The evaluation kit includes two PL360MB smart metering boards allowing to evaluate the performance of PL360B device in point to point links using Power Line Communication (PLC). Each PL360MB board in this evaluation kit is a full-featured platform to develop a complete smart meter. PL360MB boards include a PL360B modem for Power Line Communication (PLC) driven by a SAM4CMS16C ARM Cortex-M4 microcontroller with embedded metrology analogue front end.
- 4 coupling boards attached to the kit (2 PLCOUP007 coupling boards, 2 PLCOUP006 coupling boards)
- PRIME and G3 power line communication protocols are fully supported
- PC tools to evaluate communication and network performance are included (PHY tester, etc)
- ATPL360 EK boards can be supplied with DC and directly from 100/125/230Vac, 50-60Hz power input
