2908539 is a Type 2 surge arrester. This is a surge arrester for 4-conductor power supply systems (L1, L2, L3, PEN), consisting of a base element with remote indication contact and protective connectors, for mounting on NS 35. Suitable for power supplies with higher supply voltages and used in powerful industrial networks and wind turbine generators.
- Type 2 surge arrester for 3-phase TN-C/IT power systems with remote signalling contact
- Handles max continuous voltage of 760V AC, suitable for 690V IT and 554/960V TN-C systems
- Nominal discharge current of 15kA, max discharge current of 30kA (8/20μs waveform)
- Voltage protection level ≤2.9kV ensures protection of sensitive downstream equipment
- Withstands temporary overvoltages: 1056V (120min / safe failure mode), 1000V(5s / withstand mode)
- Response time ≤25ns
- DIN-rail mount housing with IP20 protection rating
- Operating temperature range from –40°C to +80°C for use in harsh environments
- IP20 protection rating
