AD500-8 TO is a circular active area APD chip with 500µm diameter. Metal can type hermetic TO52 package with clear glass window. Applications include laser range finder, high speed photometry, high speed optical communications, medical equipment and distance measurement.

- Fast rise time, low capacitance
- Optimum gain: 50-60
- 0.5nA typical dark current (M = 100)
- 120V maximum breakdown voltage at IR = 2µA (±2V measuring tolerance on upper and lower limits)

- 0.35ns typical rise time (M = 100, λ = 905nm, RL = 50 ohm)
