The VSMB2020X01 is a High Speed Infrared Emitting Diode with high radiant power and high speed, moulded in clear, untinted plastic packages (with lens) for surface mounting (SMD). It has 940nm emitting diodes in GaAlAs (DH) technology and it is suitable for high pulse current operation. It is suitable for use in IrDA compatible data transmission, miniature light barrier, photointerrupters, optical switch, control and drive circuits and shaft encoders.
