EV-SOMCRR-EZLITE is a SOM-compatible carrier board providing peripheral functions including audio I/O, Ethernet, and USB. This carrier board enables users to plug-n-play with any of ADI’s System-on-Module (SoM) boards (e.g., EV-21569-SOM, EV-21593-SOM, EV-SC594-SOM, or EV-SC598-SOM). The EV-SOMCRR-EZLITE allows users to evaluate the most common peripherals and interfaces featured on ADI’s SHARC+ audio processors (e.g., Audio, Ethernet, USB, etc.). The EV-SOMCRR-EZLITE contains an on-board ICE emulator to provide additional cost savings by eliminating the need for an external emulator. It also provides connection to external A2B boards to allow for easy application expandability of customers’ systems. The EV-SOMCRR-EZLITE board must be used in conjunction with a SOM module board, as the processor itself is resident on the SOM board. In combination, the connected system utilizes the CrossCore® Embedded Studio (CCES) development tools to enable developers to achieve faster time to market.
