The NCP114AMX280TBG is a 300mA CMOS low dropout regulator in 4 pin µDFN package. This regulator provides engineer with a very stable, accurate voltage with low noise suitable for space constrained, noise sensitive applications. In order to optimize performance for battery operated portable applications, the IC employs dynamic quiescent current adjustment for very low IQ consumption at no load. It is used in PDAs, mobile phones, GPS, smartphones, wireless handsets, wireless LAN, Bluetooth, Zigbee and other battery powered applications.
- Operating input voltage range from 1.7V to 5.5V
- 2.8V fixed output voltage
- Very low quiescent current of 50A (typ)
- Standby current consumption is 0.1A (typ)
- Low dropout is 135mV (typ) at 300mA
- Accuracy at room temperature is ±1%
- High power supply ripple rejection is 75dB at 1KHz
- Thermal shutdown and current limit protections
- Stable with a 1µF ceramic output capacitor
