NCS199A1RSQT2G is a bidirectional, zero-drift, low- or high-side current sensing, voltage output, current shunt monitor (also called current sense amplifier) that can measure the voltage across shunts at common-mode voltages from -0.3V to 26V, independent of the supply voltage. The low offset of the zero-drift architecture enables current sensing across the shunt with maximum voltage drop as low as 10mV full scale. This device can operate from a single +2.2V to +26V power supply, drawing a maximum of 80µA of supply current, and is specified over the extended operating temperature. Typical applications include current sensing (high-side/low-side), telecom, power management, battery charging, and discharging.
- 20kohm R3 and R4, 1Mohm R1 and R2
- Supply voltage range from 2.2 to 26V, input offset voltage RTI is ±5µV typ (VSENSE = 0mV, TA = 25°C)
- Low offset drift is 0.5µV/°C max, RTI vs power supply ratio is ±0.1µV/V typ (VS=2.7 to 26V)
- Gain error is ±0.2% typ (VSENSE = -5mV to 5mV, TA = -40°C to 125°C)
- Rail-to-Rail output capability
- Gain is 50V/V typ (TA = +25°C, VSENSE = VIN+ -VIN-; VS = +5V, VIN+ = 12V, and VREF = VS/2)
- Bandwidth (f-3dB) is 90KHz typ (CLOAD = 10pF, TA = +25°C, VSENSE = VIN+ - VIN-;)
- Slew rate is 1V/µs typ (TA = +25°C, VSENSE = VIN+ -VIN-; VS = +5V, VIN+ = 12V, and VREF = VS/2)
- Quiescent current is 40µA typ (VSENSE = 0mV, TA = +25°C, VSENSE = VIN+ -VIN, VREF = VS/2)
- SC70-6 package, ambient temperature range from -40 to 125°C
