SIC453ED-T1-GE3 is a PMBus 1.3 compliant non-isolated DC/DC buck regulator with integrated MOSFETs. It is capable of supplying up to 40A (SiC450) continuous output current. Its output voltage is digitally adjustable from 0.3V to 12V from a 4.5V to 20V input with switching frequencies up to 1.5MHz. SiC45x architecture delivers ultrafast transient response with minimum output capacitance and tight regulation over a broad load range. The device has integrated internal compensation and is stable with any type of output capacitor. The device incorporates a power-saving scheme that significantly increases light load efficiency. It allows power block configuration programs to be stored in non-volatile memory (NVM). Various operation parameters can all be locally stored and used to determine fault behaviour. Application includes server, cloud, and infrastructure, networking, telecom, storage applications, distributed point of load power architectures, DDR memory.

- Supports in phase or 180° out of phase synchronization, output voltage source and sink capability
- PVIN, VOUT, IIN and IOUT and temperature reporting, differential output remote sensing
- Over current protection in pulse-by-pulse mode, over temperature protection with hysteresis
- Shutdown current is 2.5mA typical at (PVIN = 12V, TJ = -40°C to +125°C)
- Load regulation is 1% typical at (PVIN = 12V, TJ = -40°C to +125°C)
- Frequency setting range from 300 - 1500KHz
- Junction temperature range from -40°C to +150°C, PowerPAK MLP34-57 package
